Machine Zone has a separate Engineering Design department with professional engineers performing a variety of in-house tasks, including making dies, providing reverse-engineering services to minimize design and cost, and designing special purpose machines to fulfil specific customer requirements. The department is equipped with CNC machines, laser cutting, CNC wire cut, surface grinder, presses and other equipment required for engineering design functions.
Using CAD/CAM and other design engineering tools for parts and special purpose machines, the team works to meet customer requirements in precise detail for jigs, dies, fixtures and special purpose machines.
The engineering design department has the talent and technology to design, manufacture and repair all kinds of moulds and dies. With modern laser cutting and presses, Machine Zone can handle automotive-industry components from miniature parts to large custom metal parts.
